To promote discussion and cooperation among projects relating to open educational resources (OER).

The wiki keeps a list and short descriptions of OER projects and further pages about those projects -- the OER Grapevine is the inside scoop about OER projects. We are not a directory of educational resources and not a host of educational resources -- for that visit one of the OER projects Web sites, that's their forte.

OER Grapevine wiki and email-list was launched on November 22, 2006 by Rob Lucas, is intended to be neutral ground, and Rob is happy to bring on other administrators.
